Holly Lawford-Smith
Holly Lawford-Smith is a member of the Social & Political Theory Programme, and the RSSS Philosophy Programme. Her primary interest is in the constraints that human biological and psychological traits and dispositions place upon the realization of certain political theories.
Her broader interests include evolutionary ethics, moral philosophy, political theory, human biology and psychology, ‘ought implies can’, and metaphilosophy. Her heroes are Rawls and Waldron, she thinks Pete Richerson should win a literary prize, and the philosophers she would most like to sing karaoke with are Jack Smart, Dave Chalmers, and Charles Pigden, although probably not at the same time.
She likes chocolate and vintage dresses, please send either c/o- the RSSS Philosophy Department.
Her RSSS and SPT homepage can be found here.
Holly would be DELIGHTED to hear from anyone working on similar things…
